Procurement Specialist

The Torrens to Darlington Project represents a landmark road infrastructure initiative in Australia. This ambitious undertaking involves constructing a 78km non-stop motorway, which will leave a lasting legacy for Adelaide and its community.

The project encompasses the construction of two tunnels - the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels - connected by an open motorway. Additionally, surface works comprise road and bridge construction, services buildings, and intricate mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

About the Role

This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of procurement processes on the Torrens to Darlington Project. You will be responsible for coordinating requests for proposals, formal bids, price quotations, construction and maintenance agreements, and purchase orders. Your expertise will enable you to negotiate optimal outcomes with vendors.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strategies for tender invitations, analysis, and negotiation.
  • Participating in technical and commercial interviews with short-listed vendors.
  • Negotiating beneficial agreements for the project.
  • Creating and reviewing contracts.
  • Implementing contracts and updating relevant records.
  • Fostering collaboration with construction teams and SMEs to ensure comprehensive scopes of work.
