Procurement Specialist

The T2D project requires a seasoned procurement specialist to manage packages from prequalification through to contract award.

A key responsibility is to lead and develop contractual excellence by ensuring effective, sustainable and high performing service delivery. Ensuring procurement activities comply with project governance, reporting and auditing requirements involves developing or implementing policies and procedures as needed.

Risk identification and mitigation are also critical, achieved by collaborating with the wider project management team. Encouraging positive project values such as integrity, excellence, care and accountability is essential.

Developing and mentoring procurement staff to ensure personal growth and project success is vital. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in driving procurement activities on large scale construction, mining or oil & gas projects.

A proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies and value for money outcomes is required. Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, commerce, engineering or business are highly valued.

Significant demonstrated experience in major projects is necessary. The successful applicant will be a values-driven leader with sharp commercial and technical acumen.
