Procurement Leader

The role will lead the team responsible for supporting the development, delivery, and implementation of procurement strategies in a Defence Acquisition environment.

The successful candidate will be accountable for establishing, implementing, and managing procurement plans, including project and sourcing strategies, that deliver value for money and manage risk.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and managing procurement plans to ensure compliance with Australian law and good practice.
  • Negotiating and managing strategic contracts.
  • Building and managing internal and external relationships.
  • Developing supplier relationship arrangements that benefit the program and industry.
  • Managing procurement risk.
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing Supply Chain personnel.

Eligibility includes a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level.
