Personal Carer Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our community care team as Personal Carers.

This role is perfect for those who want to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing supportive care and empowering them to live independently.

As a Personal Carer, you will be responsible for visiting clients in their homes, providing scheduled support, interacting one-on-one, and assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.

You will also provide care in accordance with individualised Care Plans and support community-based recreational and social activities, including transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification, a current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum), and a roadworthy vehicle insured for work.

In return, we offer a competitive remuneration package, including $35.51 per hour, 12% superannuation, salary packaging options, allowances and travel reimbursement, and employee discounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification
