  • Enjoy having variety in their day.

  • Can build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Care about helping our aged community members live independently at home for longer.
  • Maintain composure when clients have bad days or when there are delays; able to shake it off and continue with the next client.
  • Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions, knowing when to ask for help from a manager.
In addition, you will need
  • An Open class Australian Driver\'s Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
The Role

In the role of Home Care Worker you will provide our aged care clients with home help services, such as:

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
