About Us

Workforce Australia for Individuals is a leading provider of workforce solutions, committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll and Accounts Administrator to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Processing:
    1. Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    2. Calculate wages, overtime, and deductions within our payroll system, FoundU, and reconcile any discrepancies.
    3. Address payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly, providing excellent customer service to employees.
    4. Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirements, implementing changes as necessary.
  2. Accounts Administration:
    1. Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    2. Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies, maintaining accurate and secure financial records.
    3. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards, implementing best practices as necessary.
  3. Record Keeping:
    1. Maintain organized and secure financial records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
    2. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Communication:
    1. Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
    2. Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related matters, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and accounts administration, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  2. Diploma in Accounting or related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  3. Proficiency in payroll software, MYOB, Xero, and MS Office Suite, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  5. Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to stay up-to-date on changes and developments.
  6. Basic understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to apply them in a practical and effective manner.
Education
  1. Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  2. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Payroll Professional, are highly desirable.
