About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team at Americold Logistics, LLC. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based out of our main site, working Monday to Friday. We are flexible with working hours, although a 07:00 AM start is preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to the Payroll Team Leader and Manager and business across the ANZ region, while providing accurate and timely processing of the company payroll.

About You

We are looking for someone who has exceptional attention to detail, is deadline-oriented, and can maintain a high level of productivity. In this role, you will engage with a variety of operations and corporate staff and therefore will be expected to communicate appropriately with staff at all levels and work as a team player.

Key Responsibilities
  1. End-to-end processing of ANZ payrolls in Preceda
  2. Maintenance of payroll system and leave planning system
  3. Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts concerning overtime and shift allowances
  4. Payroll administration and reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
  5. Calculation and processing of termination payments
  6. Processing increases and calculation of back pay
  7. Assisting Payroll Team with month-end consolidation, reconciliation, and payment of payroll and group tax
  8. Ensuring all incidents, and accidents within control are reported and investigated
Requirements
  1. Experience using a HRIS and payroll system (Preceda Payroll, Oracle and Kronos are desirable but not essential)
  2. Ability to produce quantitative reports that provide information from payroll
  3. Strong customer service focus
  4. Understanding of ANZ payroll legislation and processes
