Developer Experience Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Developer Experience Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for enhancing the frontend testing experience, designing and building core components of our Quality Platform, and partnering with engineers across the organization to co-design platform solutions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust software systems using strong knowledge of system design, data structures, and operational best practices.
  • Build developer tools, testing infrastructure, CI/CD systems, or other platform-level solutions that improve the lives of engineers.
  • Develop test automation principles across different levels (unit, integration, E2E) and understand the challenges involved in building reliable, maintainable test suites and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong Software Engineering Craft: 5+ years of experience building and maintaining robust software systems.
  • Passion for Developer Empowerment: Experience with building developer tools, testing infrastructure, CI/CD systems, or other platform-level solutions.
  • Understanding of Quality & Testing: Solid grasp of test automation principles and experience with building reliable, maintainable test suites and frameworks.
  • Developer-Centric Mindset: Ability to put yourself in the shoes of your users (other engineers) and demonstrate empathy.
  • Pragmatic Problem-Solving: Excellent at breaking down complex technical challenges and delivering practical solutions.
