Our organization is seeking a skilled Cleaning Team Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations of our distribution centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facilities are cleaned to the highest standards and delivered within designated timeframes.

The supervisor will lead a team of cleaning professionals, providing guidance, direction, and supervision to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a positive team environment and maintaining productivity and efficiency;
  • Ensuring team members complete work schedules to quality standards and within required timeframes;
  • Recording completed schedules on time with relevant information completed;
  • Advising supervisors of operational issues or problems;
  • Participating in the induction and training of new team members;
  • Escalating performance or personnel issues to supervisors;
  • Providing feedback on team member performance;
  • Managing the maintenance of food safety and hygiene standards across all areas of the facilities;
  • Overseeing the use of approved systems and techniques for cleaning and maintenance;

The ideal candidate will have a certificate in cleaning/asset maintenance, a minimum of 5 years' experience in cleaning/food service industries, and a proven track record of supervising dynamic teams in customer service environments. Additionally, they should possess intermediate to advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

As a Cleaning Team Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and partners. You will also contribute to the development of close working relationships with key stakeholders at our distribution centers and associated companies.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work in an office environment that involves sitting and/or standing at a workstation, use standard IT equipment, and wear a facemask as required. You will also need to visit and/or supervise works occurring at partner sites.
