We are seeking a skilled and reliable sweeper to join our team. As a sweeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining site housekeeping standards, operating sweepers and scrubbers, and ensuring hardstands, pathways, and floor line markings are clean and visible.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintenance and site housekeeping standards, particularly the operation of sweepers and scrubbers.
  • Ensure hardstands, pathways, and floor line markings are clean and visible across the plant at all times.
  • Perform pre-start exercises prior to work commencing each day.
  • Attend L1 morning meetings and participate in site safety initiatives, such as hazard reporting.
  • Conduct daily sweeper pre-start checklists and perform housekeeping duties, including clearing debris from floors.
  • Operate and perform basic maintenance on site sweepers and wet scrubbers.
  • Assist with other activities as required, such as painting, signing, and moving items.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform manual laboring around the plant as required.
  • Manual handling of up to 20kgs.
  • Be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
