Lead Product Strategist

This role is responsible for the development, management, and lifecycle of Mortgages products, services, channel delivery, and processes within one or more areas. The successful candidate will be familiar with the relationship between these areas and strive for an optimal customer experience while meeting ING targets.

The ideal candidate may also act as a Product Owner within a squad. As a Product Owner, they will decide what is being worked on within the squad, manage the squad's KPIs (together with the team), and determine key priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to all sprint events using technical expertise and experience
  • Representing the voice of the customer and having a strong vision for attracting and retaining customers
  • Co-managing and prioritizing the backlog at the user story level
  • Managing product risks and requirements related to the customer, supplier, and regulators
  • Designing strategies for products, channels, promotion, pricing, and product quality

We're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the banking industry or similar (mortgage/home loan experience preferred)
  • Depth of experience in product management, process, or channel optimization
  • Experience working in a customer-centric environment where customer needs drive proposition development
  • Creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and a willingness to work in a multidisciplinary agile team
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
