Job Description

The Acting eLearning Leader will be responsible for ensuring all staff are well-versed in the use of 21st-century technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • eLearning Strategy Development
  • Liaising with teachers to integrate technology into their teaching practices
  • Providing professional development opportunities for staff on the effective use of technology

This role requires a high level of expertise in educational technology and leadership skills to drive innovation in the classroom.

The successful candidate will have a highly developed understanding of ICTs appropriate use in schools, strong organisational and time management skills, and significant experience in the use of technology to enhance student learning.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice, understand how students learn best, and have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks.

Leadership Qualities

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership qualities, including a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking, and innovation. They will also be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work towards a common goal.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • A highly developed understanding of ICTs appropriate use in schools
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Significant experience in the use of technology to enhance student learning
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks
  • Registration with VIT
  • A commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children
