Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and engaging Acting eLearning Leader (POL3) to join Penola Catholic College. This is a full-time fixed-term position for 2026.

The Acting eLearning Leader will ensure that all staff are well versed in the use of 21st Century technologies to enhance student learning outcomes. You will develop and enhance the learning experiences of students by leading the Penola community, including staff and parents, in the effective use of current, emerging and innovative information and communication technologies.

You will work collaboratively with the ICT Manager in the review, implementation and maintenance of digital technologies across and within the College.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and model the effective use of information and communication technologies to improve student learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with ICT Manager to review, implement and maintain digital technologies across the College
  • Support staff, students and parents in adopting 21st Century learning tools and practices
  • Contribute to the development of a contemporary teaching and learning environment
  • Demonstrate contemporary teaching practices and understand how students learn best
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Highly developed understanding of ICT use in schools; strong organisational and time management skills
  • Significant experience in using technology to enhance student learning and experience with learning management systems
  • Ability to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice
  • Knowledge of Australian curriculum frameworks
  • A track record of leadership with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
  • Registered with VIT
  • Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children
