Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mine Geologist to join our team as a Geological Coordinator. This role will involve coordinating and executing geological activities at a mine site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that geology activities align with the mine plan, in collaboration with the mine team.
  • This involves supervising and mentoring a team of geologists and technicians to deliver high-quality geological services.
  • The candidate will oversee production and development geology function, including routine mine to mill reconciliations.
  • They will also ensure quality assurance/quality control meets industry best practice.
  • Maintenance and coordination of drill schedules to meet production requirements is essential for this role.

About You:

  • You must have a Bachelor of Science (Geology) degree.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of geostatistical and geological principles is required.
  • A good understanding of arid environment regolith profiles and experience with RC drilling supervision is necessary for success in this role.
  • Previous exposure to Vulcan, Deswik, Acquire Systems, and ArcGIS is an advantage.
  • Candidates should be able to work across both production and development geology and willingness to conduct fieldwork when needed.
  • A current and valid manual C-class driver's licence is a must.
  • You must possess effective communication skills to mentor, train, and relay technical information and activities to team members.
