Mine Site Specialist

The Mine Geologist role involves coordinating geological activities at the mine site. This includes collaborating with the mine team, daily production duties, planning and designing resource drilling, and maintaining accurate data processing.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate geology activities across the site
- Supervise mining activities, in-pit mapping, ore block design, production reporting, and mine to mill reconciliation
- Design grade control drill programs for maximum benefit and accuracy
- Contribute to the delivery of accurate grade control models for grade control and resource development purposes
- Hold a tertiary qualification in geology or a related field
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of geostatistical and geological principles
- Have effective communication skills to relay technical information to non-technical team members
- Experience with RC drilling supervision is advantageous
