The Position:

The Financial Reporting and Tax Manager will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of reporting requirements and tax compliance as mandated for client portfolios. The team provides critical information in a timely, complete and accurate manner, including:

  • Review and final sign-off of financial reports
  • Delivery of business activity statements and tax returns
  • Escalation point for upstream and downstream teams, leading the process to work through issues with relevant parties
  • Overall responsibility for the end-to-end process to meet deliverables and building relationships with both upstream and downstream teams
  • Responsible for the risk and control framework being followed during daily deliverable review and regular reviews of Fund Accounting procedures and processes
  • Drive process improvement
  • Provide support for necessary governance reporting

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting ideal
  • CPA/CA qualified ideal

Experience and knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
