Cargo Handling Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cargo Handling Specialist to join our team at Brisbane Airport. As a key member of our cargo operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo.
Key Responsibilities- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move cargo around the airport.
- Cargo Loading and Unloading: Load and unload cargo in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
- Data Entry and Processing: Accurately enter and process import/export information using our operating systems.
- Cargo Documentation: Correctly process all cargo handling documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cargo Handling Duties: Perform cargo handling duties using automated cargo handling systems, packing/unpacking ULDs and loose cargo.
- Free On-Site Parking: Enjoy the convenience of free parking on site.
- Uniforms and PPE Provided: We provide uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and comfort.
- Generous Leave Entitlements: Accrue 5 weeks of annual leave per year, plus additional leave entitlements.
- Rotating Roster: Work a 24/7 rotating roster to ensure our operations run smoothly.
- Permanent Part-Time Opportunity: Enjoy the security of a permanent part-time position, with the option to convert to full-time after 12 months.
- Employment Agreement: Be employed under the dnata Ramp and Cargo Enterprise Agreement.
