As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of person-centred care that supports meaningful recovery and long-term outcomes for individuals with acquired brain injury.

The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit is located within Liverpool Hospital and is a nationally accredited specialist ward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply your clinical expertise in rehabilitation or acute care environments to support the rehabilitation needs of patients
  • Commit to delivering holistic, culturally responsive care that respects the dignity and autonomy of each individual
  • Pursue opportunities to improve health outcomes across diverse communities through evidence-based practice and collaboration
  • Evident in all aspects of your work are the values of compassion, collaboration, and excellence
Requirements:
  • Hold current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Reflect on experiences that have shaped your nursing practice and explain how they motivate you to join our specialist Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit
  • In your approach to care, describe how you ensure it remains culturally responsive and person-centred, particularly when supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Share an example of a situation where you applied critical thinking to navigate a complex clinical challenge and describe the impact on patient care
  • Explain the steps you took and the outcome
