
Fruit Crop Specialist

As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and productivity of our citrus crops.
You will work closely with farm managers, horticulturists, agronomists and pest control advisors to implement effective strategies for crop management, including inspecting crops for signs of pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies and environmental stress, monitoring climate factors and collecting and analysing data on crop performance and yield.
You will be based in the Sunraysia region, working across and supporting three farms, implementing broader agronomy programs and innovation projects to improve yield, fruit quality and sustainability of our farming operations.
Key Responsibilities- Implement crop management strategies to optimize yield and fruit quality.
- Monitor and report on crop health and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement agronomy programs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A relevant degree in agriculture or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
