Graduate Development Program

This is an 18-month rotational program where you will gain experience in different produce categories and locations.

You will be part of a cohort that will receive leadership development training, access to industry leaders, and the opportunity to play a central role in producing premium quality fruit and vegetables.

The program includes three rotations, each six months long, in three different produce categories at different locations across Australia. Successful applicants will receive a fixed-term contract with a competitive salary, laptop, phone, and uniform.

  • Assist with crop planning, pest and disease management, irrigation, and soil management.
  • Set up field trials to test new crop varieties, fertilizers, pesticides, and techniques.
  • Monitor crop health and diagnose issues (pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies).
  • Collect and analyze data on crop performance and yield.
  • Product Quality; understand product defects and their effects on quality scores.
  • Harvest planning, coordinating, and supervising.
  • Develop and monitor post-harvest techniques to reduce spoilage and maintain freshness.
  • Conduct inspections for hygiene, contamination, pesticide residues, and microbial quality.
About You

To qualify for this program, you must:

  • Be in your final year or have recently finished a bachelor's or postgraduate degree.
  • Hold a valid driver's license (or obtain one by commencement date).
  • Have your own personal reliable transport with relevant insurances.
  • Be ready and willing to relocate and work in different sites during the program, most of which are regional locations.
  • Have full working rights in Australia.
