Are you a compliance champion who thrives on navigating complexity, solving problems and making regulatory frameworks that work for the business?
- Provide advisory, monitoring and reporting services to the business as well as investigating and reporting on incidents in accordance with ASIC and APRA requirements.
- Monitor and report on financial adviser framework and ensure compliance with ASIC regulations.
- Update compliance frameworks, policies and procedures as required and at least annually in accordance with the Compliance Calendar.
Key Requirements:
- At least three years experience working within the superannuation industry in a compliance role.
- Understanding of Corporations Act, Privacy Act and SIS Regulations.
- Knowledge of ASIC Regulatory Guides: RG 274; RG 271; RG 78 and RG 234.
Supporting the Head of Risk & Compliance, key responsibilities include:
- Providing advisory, monitoring and training services to the business on matters in accordance with regulatory guidance.
- Working with key third parties to ensure compliance with superannuation regulations and respond to questionnaires and attestations as well as update superannuation disclosure documents.
