About the Role

As a senior telecommunications professional, you will be responsible for leading complex railway projects from inception to delivery. Your primary objective will be to ensure that client requirements and industry standards are met, while delivering high-quality solutions tailored to their needs.

Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success, leveraging your expertise in telecommunications technologies relevant to the rail sector. You will oversee technical documentation, designs, and reports to guarantee compliance with industry best practices and project specifications.

You will provide technical leadership and mentorship on 3GPP networks (4G/5G) and IP/MPLS solutions within railway environments. Your experience in deploying these solutions is highly valued, as well as your ability to engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are addressed.

In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring all project deliverables meet statutory, regulatory, and safety standards. This requires a strong understanding of industry regulations and familiarity with industry best practices.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electronic Engineering, along with a minimum of 6–8 years of experience in consulting with a strong background in railway telecommunications. Direct experience with IP/MPLS and 5G equipment from major suppliers is highly valued.

You will also need to demonstrate proven expertise in deploying 3GPP networks (4G/5G) and IP/MPLS solutions within railway environments, as well as strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Familiarity with industry regulations, statutory requirements, and safety standards in the rail sector is also essential.
