We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Expert to join our Rail Systems team in Perth. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality telecommunications solutions that support railway mission critical and business critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the planning, execution, and technical review of complex railway telecommunications projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement innovative telecommunications solutions tailored to specific client needs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, sharing knowledge on telecommunications technologies relevant to the rail sector.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and equipment suppliers to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in consulting, with a strong background in railway telecommunications.
- Direct experience with IP/MPLS and 5G equipment from major suppliers is highly valued.
- Proven expertise in the deployment of 3GPP networks (4G, 5G) and IP/MPLS solutions within a railway environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions within project timeframes and budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, statutory requirements, and safety standards within the rail sector.
