About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a recent or near engineering graduate to kick-start their career in local government as a Development Engineer.

This role involves working on development assessment and infrastructure projects that impact the liveability and sustainability of our region.

As a key member of our forward-thinking team, you will provide high-level support to the manager in achieving the section's goals and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in development assessment and infrastructure projects
  • Support the manager in ensuring the section's goals and objectives are achieved
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality customer service within set timeframes
Essential Qualifications:
  • Recent or substantial completion of tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proven digital literacy with competence in Microsoft 365, namely Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team focused on delivering quality customer service
