Job Title: Service Controller

About Us:

We are a leading rental and sales company with branches across Australia, providing high-quality service and equipment to our customers.

We are expanding our team and seeking a proactive and experienced Service Controller to join our service department.

The Role:

This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet and retail customer equipment.

Your primary responsibilities include coordinating with clients and dispatching Field Service Technicians for prompt repairs and maintenance, managing spare parts, creating and managing work orders, scheduling preventative maintenance, and continuously analyzing and improving scheduling practices to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for customer breakdown requests.
  2. Coordinate with technicians to ensure the availability of spare parts.
  3. Create and manage work orders for Field Service Technicians.
  4. Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a Field Service Coordinator in a mechanical environment highly regarded but not essential.
  2. Proven experience in a high-volume scheduling environment.
  3. Solid mechanical aptitude.
  4. Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  6. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
