Domestic Services Supervisor Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to lead a large team in delivering high standards of hygiene and safety in a busy hospital environment.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of infection control, patient flow, staff rostering, and resource management, as well as proven ability in people and performance management.
  • This role requires the ability to manage large teams, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet clinical requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing teams, prioritising tasks, and meeting clinical requirements.
  • Utilise strong skills in rostering, reporting, problem-solving, and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) to drive success.
  • Effectively handle difficult and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • Current Working with Children Registration is essential.
  • Previous management/supervision experience, infection control and auditing training is desirable.
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Suite is required.
