Advanced Technology Design RoleWe are seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves coordinating with other disciplines and meeting client needs.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the coordination of advanced technologies in modern projects throughout Australia.
  • Providing design support in ICT for various offices and projects across Australia for the design of active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, Audio-Visual services, etc.
  • Preparing technical documents for planning, preparation of specifications and drawings, calling of tenders and providing construction service support including testing and commissioning.
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships for the execution of projects and participating in business development.
  • Supporting other Project Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction.
  • Providing support and mentoring to Junior staff members.
To succeed in this position, you'll need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent training in networking, computer science, cyber security, etc.
  • Customer focus, providing bespoke solutions.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of Structured Cabling Systems, Backbone Fibre & Copper, MATV/IPTV Systems, DAS, ICN - Integrated Communications Network, IP telephony systems, Active networks, Wireless Design, WiredScore assessor, Digital Signage, Large scale AV Systems, Data Centres, Defence ICT design.
  • Knowledge of security systems, both physical and cyber, beneficial but not essential.
  • RCDD, CCNA or CISSP certifications considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZ, IEC, ANSI / TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).
  • Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to innovate based on customer and industry requirements.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
