Senior Allied Health Professional Leader
  • Job Title: Senior Allied Health Professional - Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology

The organization seeks an experienced and accomplished allied health professional to lead a team and mentor emerging clinicians in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.

This role offers the opportunity to share expertise, mentor early-career professionals, and contribute to meaningful community outcomes through clinical excellence and leadership.

The successful candidate will utilize their advanced clinical skills to make a significant difference in the lives of NDIS participants and support the development of their team members through effective leadership and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a large caseload and delivering high-quality therapeutic services efficiently
  • Providing Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology services within schools, homes, and community settings with a focus on exceptional patient care
  • Using comprehensive clinical observations and assessments to set personalized treatment goals and objectives
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve participant outcomes through collaborative practice
  • Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding clinical results
  • Supervising and mentoring graduate and early-career clinicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Creating a supportive environment that fosters high-quality clinical outcomes and professional growth
  • Supporting clinicians with scheduling, referrals, and workflow management to optimize productivity
  • Maintaining compliance with current NDIS legislation and regulations to ensure quality service delivery

To be considered, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or SPA registration as a Speech Pathologist
  • Minimum 5 years' experience post-graduation in a senior leadership role
  • Exceptional leadership skills to drive key responsibilities forward
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • A proactive attitude and motivation for continuous improvement and professional growth
  • A desire to mentor and support early-career clinicians in their development
