Clinical Leadership Position for Allied Health Professionals

About the Role

This is a clinical leadership position that requires an experienced allied health professional with a passion for leading teams and shaping the next generation of clinicians.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in occupational therapy or speech pathology and be able to manage an allocated caseload, complete therapeutic services, and deliver evidence-based interventions.

  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to participants within schools, homes, and the local community
  • Use clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help participants achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Support graduate and early career allied health professionals through clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development
Requirements

To be considered suitable, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist
  • Experience as an allied health professional beyond graduation (5 years minimum)
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership capability to meet key responsibilities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
