About Us
Sculpture U provides pre-construction services for residential and subdivision developments across South Australia. We're seeking an experienced Council Planner to join our team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Assess development applications for compliance with planning regulation
Prepare planning reports and recommendations
Liaise with developers, architects, and engineers
Interpret and apply council planning schemes and legislation
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth approval processes
Ensure deliverables meet Australian council guidelines
Qualifications
Qualification in Town Planning or Urban Planning
Minimum 1 year experience (3+ preferred)
Strong knowledge of Australian planning legislation & standards
ABN, Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance
Own software, tools, and internet access
Engagement details
Independent Contractor role – not employment
Paid per project (hourly/fixed rates you propose)
No workload guaranteed
All deliverables must meet Australian council guidelines
