Group External Reporting Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Group External Reporting team, responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and governance requirements for the Qantas Group.
This role involves providing technical accounting advice to the business, ensuring correct implementation of accounting policies and standards, and leading a large team through the reporting process to deliver on external and internal financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of external financial reporting and governance requirements for the Qantas Group
- Provide technical accounting advice to the business on key transactions and ensure correct implementation of accounting policies and standards
- Lead a large team through the reporting process to deliver on external and internal financial reporting requirements
- Collaborate with the wider finance group to deliver key information to support Group Finance, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting and governance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and experience of delivering external reporting in a large ASX listed organisation
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a large team
- Strong analytical mindset with a meticulous eye for detail
