Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our team as a Payments and Cards Platform Lead. This role will play a pivotal part in the day-to-day operation and project activities across various payment infrastructure for Australia's leading mutual bank.

About the Role

This role is responsible for providing operational support, incident & problem management, change management, integration, and monitoring of critical payments' infrastructure. As a subject matter expert (SME) for Payments & Cards platforms, you will be an escalation point for incidents related to the platform and support the incident management process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Payments & Cards platforms.
  • Provide payments & cards SME support for the design and integration of new projects.
  • Manage incidents: Be an escalation point for incidents related to the Payments & Cards platform and support the incident management process.
  • Manage problems: Identifying incident trends, root cause analysis, and determining and implementing permanent corrective actions.
  • Change management: Lead and oversee changes into production, ensuring that development, design, testing, and verification adhere to strict ITIL standards minimizing impacts to members and staff.
About You

You will have demonstrated experience of successful delivery and support of member-centric platforms that are usable, stable, secure, compliant, and aligned to business objectives. Expertise in providing strong technical acumen, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
