Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide before and/or after school care and/or vacation care to primary school-aged children as part of a team
  • Lead and support the delivery of engaging activities promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment ensuring children's physical and emotional well-being at all times
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with children, staff, and families

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and as an effective team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong initiative and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and patience
  • Reliability and emotional maturity
  • Certificate III/IV in Children's Services or working towards
  • Current Employee Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
