Job Description

We seek a Senior Project Logistics Specialist to execute all project activities across Australia.

You'll help grow our projects business by strengthening customer relationships and delivering value through solutions and operational excellence.

This role offers frequent domestic travel and the opportunity for international work on diverse high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Plan and coordinate daily activities while contributing to broader strategy development.
  • Business Growth: Identify and implement innovative solutions to drive customer-focused business growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain high work quality and safety standards while coaching others to improve performance.
  • Profitability: Take ownership of outcomes to enhance profitability and capital returns.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Evaluate customer needs thoroughly and deliver long-term solutions.
  • Project Support: Assist with project activities, managing costings, invoices, accounts, and collaborating across teams.
Requirements
  • Freight Forwarding Expertise: Strong knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding regulations and global forwarding operations.
  • Specialised Industry Experience: Hands-on experience in areas like heavy haulage, oversized loads, project movements, stevedoring, ocean freight, customs brokerage, and administration.
  • Customer Service: Proven ability to engage with customers demonstrating a strong service ethic and client-focused approach.
  • Organisational Skills: Methodical and detail-oriented with strong planning, time management, and execution capabilities.
  • Analytical Acumen: Skilled in problem-solving, risk mitigation, and improving customer experience and business performance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills to support operational tasks.
