Project Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Project Logistics Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing logistics activities, and ensuring the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods. They will also be required to prepare logistics reports, perform data analysis, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Coordinate domestic and international multi-leg shipments to meet project requirements.
  • Manage logistics activities, including shipment tracking, invoicing, and claims resolution.
  • Prepare logistics reports and performance metrics to support project information requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field and 5-8 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of multimodal transport modes, including airfreight, sea freight, containerized, LCL, breakbulk, barging, and domestic transportation.
  • Proficient in speaking and writing English and knowledgeable about Australia's importing and exporting formalities.
  • Commercial and contractual acumen, with knowledge of Incoterms (2020) and industry packing, making, and shipping requirements.
