Indigenous Participation Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Indigenous Participation Specialist to join our team at Powerlink. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in coordinating the execution of targets and deliverables outlined in the CopperString 2032 Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with delivery partners and stakeholders to ensure timely progression of IPP commitments and monitor/report on progress.
- Identify opportunities and partnerships with indigenous suppliers and businesses to support regional growth.
- Integrate indigenous participation into project planning and execution while promoting the project's positive contributions to local well-being.
- Work closely with the communications team to highlight organisational contributions and share success stories.
- Ensure alignment with regional development goals, land use plans, and growth strategies during project design and construction.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Community Development, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field. You will have experience in a similar role, preferably with state or regional development agencies, and familiarity with government compliance and regulatory environments.

- Competitive salary starting from $185, 735 + 14.75% super (10-day fortnight)
