Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement plans to manage issues and reputation for Bupa.
  • Monitor industry and government activity to provide timely advice and ensure the business is alert to relevant issues or events.
  • Support the Public Affairs team on policy and advocacy priorities aligned with strategy.
  • Undertake research and data analysis to inform advocacy efforts.
  • Assist with drafting briefing notes and summaries of significant reports, announcements, and proposals for senior leaders.
  • Coordinate external and internal engagement activities, monitoring and reporting on engagement plans and drafting regular internal updates.

What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of government, policy, and the Australian political system, as well as strong administration abilities, analytical, research, and communication skills.

You will have a degree-level qualification in health or public policy, business, communications, or a similar area and experience working in government or public policy and advocacy organizations or in stakeholder relations.
