The Role

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Therapist at Connect2Care, you will provide evidence-based services to people through multiple service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services. Referrals may come through the NDIS, Medicare, or privately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities
  • Work within the NDIS to maximize clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement
  • Assist clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications (in relevant fields)
  • Timely documentation and report writing
  • Manage a varied caseload
  • Meet company professional expectations (e.g. meeting billables and effective client management)
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources
  • Work across leading software platforms and online tools
The New Grad Program

We have developed a comprehensive New Graduate Program to support recent graduates in their transition to the workplace. The program includes:

  • Weekly 1:1 supervision with your supervisor
  • Core competency skills training sessions
  • Fortnightly group mentoring sessions
  • Mental health drop-in sessions
  • Internal PD sessions
  • Shadowing opportunities with experienced clinicians
  • Opportunity to learn and be supported by senior clinicians within multidisciplinary teams
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have or be able to obtain the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field
  • Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g. AHPRA/SPA)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check and International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas)
  • Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
