Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of a business. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the processing of invoices, handling payments, reconciling accounts, and managing receivables.

  • Process supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Manage accounts receivable by issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and transparency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in an accounting system
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting as required
  • Prepare and distribute financial statements to clients and suppliers as necessary
  • Respond to queries from suppliers and clients in a professional and timely manner
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable or a similar finance role
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or similar) and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build good relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
