Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our global team in Sydney. As a trusted advisor, you'll partner with senior leaders across our engineering department to build high-performing teams.

As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you'll be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles and business units. You'll leverage your effective stakeholder management skills to consult with leaders and provide a best-in-class recruitment service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent through talent mapping, research, referrals, networking events, and sourcing campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Partner closely with the People & Culture and Workplace Experience team to drive operational excellence.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to your stakeholder group through meaningful partnership.
  • Proactively build passive candidate pipelines with an analytical and data-driven approach.
  • Effectively pitch SafetyCulture, explaining equity, negotiating, and closing offers while providing a fantastic candidate experience.
  • Contribute to building SafetyCulture's employer brand through your own external brand, communications, and networks.
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects to drive operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years demonstrated experience in technical recruiting, especially using innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels for engineering.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment cycle and the tools, with the ability to apply them proactively with flexibility.
  • Proven capacity to develop and maintain successful stakeholder relationships.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
  • An interest in high-growth technology startups.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented scale-up.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
