We're seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our global team in Sydney. As a trusted advisor, you'll partner with senior leaders across our engineering department to build high-performing teams.
As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you'll be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles and business units. You'll leverage your effective stakeholder management skills to consult with leaders and provide a best-in-class recruitment service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent through talent mapping, research, referrals, networking events, and sourcing campaigns.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Partner closely with the People & Culture and Workplace Experience team to drive operational excellence.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to your stakeholder group through meaningful partnership.
- Proactively build passive candidate pipelines with an analytical and data-driven approach.
- Effectively pitch SafetyCulture, explaining equity, negotiating, and closing offers while providing a fantastic candidate experience.
- Contribute to building SafetyCulture's employer brand through your own external brand, communications, and networks.
- Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects to drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
- 8+ years demonstrated experience in technical recruiting, especially using innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels for engineering.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment cycle and the tools, with the ability to apply them proactively with flexibility.
- Proven capacity to develop and maintain successful stakeholder relationships.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
- An interest in high-growth technology startups.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented scale-up.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
