In this role, you will act for respondent parties in a large number of native title claims and advise a diverse client base including local governments, government corporations, developers, and pastoral holders -on the native title and cultural heritage dimensions of major infrastructure and development projects.
- Providing strategic advice on compliance with native title and Aboriginal cultural heritage legislation;
- Representing clients in Federal Court mediations and case management hearings;
- Conducting due diligence investigations and delivering insightful assessment advice;
- Supporting and leading negotiations on Indigenous Land Use Agreements and Cultural Heritage Agreements.
