Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Career Sports Coaches to join our team in various regions in Canberra, ACT. The role involves teaching Flag Football to high school and primary school students, with the potential to teach other sports as well.

About the Role

Flag Football Sports Coaches - Casual

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the fundamental skills, rules, and tactics of Flag Football
  • Facilitate activities and modified games to a recreational group
  • High energy coach that can engage and motivate the students
  • Plan creative sessions and be able to adjust to the needs of the group
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Availability for the school term
  • A Working with Children Check Clearance number

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of sports coaching experience or full training will be provided for the right candidates who show initiative, enthusiasm, and capability to learn
  • The successful candidate will be required to complete the free online coaching and officiating courses:
  • The Community Coaching General Principles

Desirable Criteria:

  • First Aid
  • Driver's License
  • Coaching Accreditations such as a Level 1 or 2
