About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Perigon Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in driving talent management, performance, workforce planning, engagement, and cultural initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to implement the People Strategy, providing guidance on talent management, employee relations, coaching, compensation, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
  • Contribute to the Strategic Workforce Plan for Operations, focusing on skill identification and management.
  • Identify leadership gaps and address key personnel issues, working with the HR team to craft strategies that ensure the future success of our leadership pipeline.
  • Effective communication will be crucial, keeping your team informed on key developments and managing approvals and escalations as needed.
  • Aid HR Business Partners in rolling out initiatives aimed at growth and maintaining organizational culture.
  • Provide guidance on people policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Handle all employee relations issues of moderate complexity from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Team on return-to-work coordination.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in Business Partnering or HR Generalist roles within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both the P&C team and client groups, earning trust to become a reliable advisor.
  • A keen interest in Operations and Employee/Industrial Relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR programs, including Culture and Engagement, Organizational Design, Change Management, and Employee Relations best practices.
  • Relevant qualifications in HR or related fields, with proven experience in similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations empathetically, facilitate workshops, and influence discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize People metrics for strategic and business decision-making.
