Workshop Planner Job Description

A.I.R Recruitment is seeking a skilled Workshop Planner to join our client's team. As a global leader in manufacturing and gas handling solutions, our client is looking for a professional to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of their workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate all jobs within the workshop, ensuring timely completion and accurate allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to procure parts and consumables, ensuring they are available before job commencement.
  • Prepare job backlogs, ensuring workscope accuracy and job strip-down reports.
  • Communicate progress updates to clients and ensure service reports and relevant documentation are completed.
  • Review invoicing to ensure all parts, consumables, and labor are accounted for.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an engineering, industrial, or workshop environment.
  • High-level planning, time management, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative skills, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through on tasks from inception to completion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with internal staff, customers, and suppliers.
What We Offer:
  • $110k + super.
  • 6-month contract with the possibility of going permanent within the 6-month period.
