Workshop Coordinator

A.I.R Recruitment is seeking a skilled Workshop Planner to join our client's team in a global manufacturing and gas handling solutions company.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate workshop operations to ensure efficient use of resources and meet deadlines.
- Work closely with the Branch Manager, Project Manager, and Leading Hand to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
- Develop and implement plans to allocate time and resources for approximately 50-60 jobs at any given time.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure timely ordering of parts and consumables.
- Prepare accurate job back reports and job strip-down reports.
- Communicate progress updates to clients and ensure service reports and relevant documentation are completed.
- Review invoicing to ensure accurate accounting for parts, consumables, and labor.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an engineering, industrial, or workshop environment.
- High-level planning, time management, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through on tasks from inception to completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with internal staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to make ethical decisions.
- $110k + super.
- 6-month contract with the possibility of going permanent within the 6-month period.
- Monday to Friday hours.
