We are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to lead our Surface Treatment division in Rutherford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing workshop activities, managing schedules and deadlines, and ensuring high-quality work.
About the Role:
- Supervise and coordinate workshop activities to meet production targets
- Manage reporting requirements and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and maintain high-quality work, adhering to company standards
- Order materials as required based on production schedules
- Drive production and team progress, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Manage overtime requirements and optimize workforce utilization
- Develop and implement training programs to upskill staff and improve team performance
About You:
- Proven workshop supervisory experience, with a strong track record of leading production teams
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan ahead, manage daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
- Willingness to train and upskill staff to improve team performance
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes
