Technical and Workshop Liaison Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical and Workshop Liaison Manager to join our team at Tamworth Mazda. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our technicians, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to workshop staff to ensure efficient and effective vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Manage and coordinate workshop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement technical training programs for workshop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination between departments.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work on multiple vehicle brands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality of work.
  • Qualifications in Light Vehicle Automotive, Master Technician level, or similar status.
