Role Summary

To ensure efficient customer onboarding in accordance with Group policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct CDD/KYC and AML checks on new customers in accordance with local regulatory requirements and Group standards.
  • Issue client documentation, including initiation of DOCS give-up agreements, to new customers in accordance with local regulatory and any exchange requirements.
  • Categorize customers in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Meet daily targets set by the Onboarding Manager.
  • Administer, allocate and update the onboarding pipeline daily.
  • Audit client and static data in the Client Data Base.
  • Maintain complete records of all customer documentation.
  • Advise the Front-Office, Co-Ordination Team and Quality Control Teams of case progress.
  • Request Business Head approval in line with MF requirements.
  • Attend weekly Business Line prioritization check-in calls.
  • Support ad-hoc reviews/projects/audits for the Onboarding department.
  • Deal with general day-to-day ad-hoc queries.
  • Work closely with the Financial Crime team.
  • Inform management of issues/developments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under various regulatory bodies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player approachable, self-efficient and influences a positive work environment.
  • Resilient in a challenging fast-paced environment.
  • Able to take high responsibility in a fast pace and high-volume environment.
Required Skills:
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant financial industry experience.
  • Experience in client onboarding with KYC and anti-financial crimes related regulatory requirement a plus.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
