Empowering Indigenous Australians as Allied Health Professionals

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our team, where you will play a vital role in supporting job seekers with complex barriers to employment. Your expertise in conducting assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and facilitating groups will make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
This permanent opportunity offers flexible work options, including telehealth opportunities, and flexibility for full or part-time hours. As a national role, you will have the chance to work from anywhere in Australia and contribute to our mission of building a more inclusive and equitable workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with diverse needs and barriers to employment;
- Develop and implement personalized plans to address these barriers and promote successful employment outcomes;
- Collaborate with medical professionals, community agencies, and atWork staff to ensure comprehensive support for our clients;
- Provide training and guidance on psychological services and procedures to enhance the skills of our team members;
- Work closely with our team of Indigenous Mentors to leverage their expertise and cultural knowledge in supporting our clients.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Requirements- A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling, with eligibility for registration with AHPRA or membership with one of the relevant professional associations;
- Experience working within employment services, preferably in roles involving assessment, counseling, and case management;
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders;
- Knowledge of psychology assessment and intervention strategies, as well as experience working with culturally diverse populations;
- Ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports, and to analyze data to inform program development and service delivery;
