Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Mental Health Professional

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our team in a permanent opportunity offering flexible work options. As a valued member of our team, you will conduct thorough assessments, offer counselling intervention, refer candidates to external support services, and provide evaluations on assessments and monitor progression of cases.
About the Role:
- This is a national role, allowing you to work from anywhere in Australia;
- Flexibility for full or part-time hours available;
- A competitive salary dependent on experience - $95,000 - $110,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop plans to assist job seekers with complex barriers to employment;
- Offer tailored counselling interventions using various psychological methodologies;
- Refer clients to relevant external support services to help address barriers;
- Evaluate assessment outcomes and monitor case progression;
- Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies to ensure seamless support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology with eligibility registration with AHPRA;
- Degree qualifications in Social Work or Counselling with current or eligibility for membership with one of AASW / ACA / PACFA;
- Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills;
- Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;
- Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
